| SMALL BLACKS COURSE | |||
| Small Blacks is a compulsory coaching course for all people coaching players at Under 13 level and below. All coaches must attend there respective courses in each of the 3 grades. | DEVELOPING RUGBY COACHES (FORMERLY PORC) | |||
| The Developing Rugby Coaches course is for senior club coaches, 1st XV coaches and age grade representative coaches. The course has replaced the former PORC course. Attendance is required at all sessions in order to attain accreditation to the IRB Level 2 coaches award. This course is the most extensive course run by the Buller Rugby Union. If interested in participating in this course in 2010 please notify the RDO as soon as possible. | TBA |

| ADVANCED COACHING COURSE 2011 | |||
| The advanced course is for performance level coaches and is run every second year. All participants must have completed the PORC Level 2 course as a prerequisite. The advanced course is equivalent to the IRB Level 3 award. Coaches need to be nominated by the Union so please contact the office if you wish to be a part of this course for 2011 (the course will not run in 2010). Selection to this course is conducted by the Crusaders Franchise and not all eligible coaches are invited. | TBA |

SECONDARY/TEENAGE
COACHES COURSE |

The
secondary/teenage coaches course is ideal for all coaches above
smallblacks level including senior coaches looking to get some
qualifications and gain an understanding of the "how to coach"
process. The course introduces competitive level coaches to the
theory side of coaching as well as giving the coach practical
skills. Although officially not recognised on the IRB coaching
levels the course is almost identical to the IRB Level 1 qualification. |

| JUNIOR PLAYER EASTER COACHING SCHOOL | |||
This
year open coaching sessions will be held for junior players in
the school holidays. Sessions will include Ball handling, kicking,
tackling, scrums/lineouts and positional play. More details will
be posted soon. |
